WEAVE CARE ROUTINE. You paid for it. Take care of it.

Here are a few basic things about human hair weaves. They are hair like the one on your head. Maybe with a different texture or colour or length but they are still hair and the earlier you realize that and take proper care of them, the better they will serve you.
Human hair care routine.

Whether they are installed as sew ins or they are still uninstalled or they are in wig form, your weaves need proper care and some of these care activities you will have to do from time to time.
Washing your weaves

As long as your weave is not synthetic or a synthetic blend, then it is washable, if  you follow the proper washing instructions . Washing your weaves is advisable because it helps remove the products that have piled up on the hair and  strip  off unnecessary oils and odours.
To wash your weave, in whatever form it is in, first work out the tangles and brush out the tips of the hair, using  a  mild moisturizing shampoo and warm water ,wash the weave. If it is installed on your head, massage the scalp of your head to wash your own hair too, rinse off with warm water and apply a good conditioner. Use your fingers to work away all tangles  from the roots to the tips, do not use a brush to brush out the weave instead use fingers or a wide tooth comb. Rinse off the conditioner while using your fingers to ensure that there are no tangled bits. Pat,not rub the weave with a cotton towel,  then apply essential oil while combing it and allow it  to fully dry naturally. Ensure your tracks are fully dried if you have sew  ins or else the hair will smell out.
Avoid brushing your weave when it is wet, do not blow dry it,  machine wash or machine spin.
Daily maintenance routine

• Do not wash your weave everyday.
• Do not allow your weave to get wet as this will cause it to tangle quick.
• Work out tangles gently with the  help of a conditioner.
• Use wide toothed combs or fingers for wavy hair  and strictly fingers for curly hair.
• Protect hair from dirt and excess products.
• Do not blow dry your weave to reduce heat damage.

General care tips
Generally ,treat your weaves like your natural hair (hopefully you have a good hair routine).
Essential oils are great for weaves and are better than oil sheen .
Keep your wigs in cool places without humidity. The same goes for your weaves.
Avoid tugging on installed weaves so as not to damage your tracks. Keep your weaves and your scalp moisturized.  In the case of any hair problems, take out weaves and treat your hair. Make sure your hair and your weaves are clean before installation.
Treat your weaves right and she will treat you right for a long time .
